Gavin James is an Irish singer that certainly has enchanted the Brazilian public. “Always”, one of his new singles, is on the Top 200 Brazil Viral on Spotify and has reached the 4th position on Brazilian Radio AirPlay charts in 2018. The song is on Espelho da Vida’s soundtrack, a soap opera from the most important TV channel of the country, Globo. The traditional independent European label – founded in 1983 – works with names like Alt-J, Anna of the North, Jonathan Wilson, Lee Ranaldo, Rina Sawayama e Mercury Rev. Formusic is the responsible for all the digital strategy and offline campaign of the artists. It includes singles schedule on playlists and the organization of press agendas, bookings and showcases during the stay in Brazil.
We have worked on the communication plan from ANIMA, the latest solo album by the Radiohead‘s frontman. The campaign explored a concept of a dream camera that fought against nightmares. In order to create this momentum, some posters were put in different places of São Paulo, sharing enigmatic messages followed by a phone number, that had the fuction of rescuing dreams that got lost in time. ANIMA is one of the most praised albums of 2019, being considered the best in Thom Yorke‘s solo carreer by far.
The new album by the Lollapalooza’s founder and vocalist from Jane’s Addiction was launched in Brazil with an exclusive listening party at BMG’s São Paulo headquarters. During the event, Perry Farrell talked to the invitees via Skype about the album’s creative process, future plans and also heard some feedback on the LP.
